Had a boat cover made that I was told that I could tow with.When we got to our destination the cover had left some rub marks on the hull were the rope goes around inside cover need some advice to remove marks and if I could have prevented it short of towing with out cover any help would be appreciated

The cover is probably not fitting correctly, or it is installed improperly. I've had a problem with Rankin covers, I now have a Covercrafts cover and don't have the same problems. Make sure the cover is fitted and adjusted right and is as tight as possible. Just use some wax and they should come right out.

if it is fiberglass which I'm sure it is this stuff called "on and off". I put it on my boat last week to get water stains off. You put it on with a paint brush ( I did 10 feet at a time) then spray it off with a water hose. It's very strong.

Dry a clay bar. I have used them with great luck on fiberglass stuff. As long as it's not scratched in the fiberglass/gel coat the clay bar works great...
