The company I work for builds aluminum hull rigid inflatable boats for military, coast guard and search/rescue agencies. The 17’ and 19’ 175 hp jets are like the “HUM-V’s” of the water world. They can go anywhere—up rivers and over huge surf. Is there a recreational market or group that would be willing to pay 30 grand for this ability?

If it has a large clean wake, then you might have something. Got to keep the cost down, but if you get it to function then you have a market. A great wake with no hassels or concerns about the "pretty" boat. None of the "don't step on the seat" type of issues. Easy to beach without damaging $$$props.

at 30 grand I dont think there is a market for it unless you can offer everything else we expect from a wakeboard boat and the functionality of go anywhere. The functionality by itself isnt worth too much IMO
