I'm looking to get a new set of bindings and have narrowed it down to these two.

First, how heavy are the factions?

Second, has anyone had any real problems with the hinge part of the binding?

Third, are the bindings as flexable as the deuces?

I hoping to get a pair ordered within the next day or so, sine I don't really have a local board shop that carries any real wakeboard gear in the Philly area, and I'm not going back out west for another 6 months or so. So any insight would be greatly appreciated.

First: They are probably heavier than the deuce just because of the metal with the hinge but I don't know about the lbs.

Second: They were having problems with the hinge early on in the life of the binding. CWB says that they have corrected he problem but if there are problems with the bindings, I know that CWB will send another hinge setting to fix the problem.

Third: The deuces are a stiff binding while the faction are a looser.

You will be very happy with the faction I am sure.

I ride the Transcend with the Zeus/Deuce bindings.... I like to switch back and forth, because both are very good bindings. I think they feel a lot like each other, but the Deuces have a little more forward lean, and the Zeus's have the hinge. They are both great boots.
