I'm looking to add a small porty point and shoot to my camera bag for those times that I want something more discrete than my DSLRs. Do you guys have any feedback on this camera or even a recommendation for a better camera. Camera is going for $344 on Beachcamera.com and is on sale at Office Depot for around $300 with a coupon I have.

Thanks!

The sd series is great. I am more familiar with the 600 and 630, but I'm sure the 900 is fantastic as well.

The SD900 does not have much of an optical zoom, with only 3X. That would bother me, but with 10mp I guess you can crop.

Just looking for a fun tote camera for parties and stuff. Like the after rail jam parties. I want to get nice shots without lugging the SLR and flash unit around.

I like my pocket cam, as it is more stealth. Kinda hard to hide a DSLR and grab the in the moment shot. Plus there are so many times when a camera in the pocket will go with you vs having nothing available. I would still look for a slightly higher zoom. Hard to tell from the pics, but that SD900 is probably tiny.

I've got a Powershot S7 that takes pretty good pictures.
