Anyone had any experience when purchasing a custom boat cover from Overtons? A friend of mine purchased one for his 03' X-9 and it was super nice --fit and finish. My question is, i have a 94' MC Prostar 205 w/ a MC Zeroflex tower from a 99' X-star. What cover should I order. In essence, if I order the cover for a 99' X-star would if fit my boat? Will the tower "holes" line up? I called Overtons, the listing they have for a 99' X-star uses the word pylon, not tower.

You could get the cover without any holes, and then take it to a local shop. Shouldn't be more than $75 to have them modify it.

I got the middle Overton's cover, and it was still $300 cheaper than buying the cheap cover from my dealer. I guessed correctly on which one to get, so the holes on mine lined up.

robb are you pleased w/ the cover? i will not trailer w/ it -- just use it for when the boat is on the lift....

anyone know if how much different my top deck is than the 99' X-star deck?

I got a Sunbrella cover from Overtons, and I am extremely happy with it. It came quickly, works great, and was at least a couple hundred dollars cheaper than anywhere else I found.

www.skiboatcovers.com

I had them add skirting aroudn my existing cover. My boat is also kept on a lift year round.
