We hit something dinging the prop causing a vibration. I took it off and beat the dent out with a lead hammer and it ran perfectly. I decided to de-pitch it for better hole shot, took it to the best shop in the area, spent $150 and got back a prop that was so noisy that I could not stand it. Considering new props cost less than $350 shipped to my door from boarditup.com, I will never re-pitch a CNC prop again.
Do you feel lucky??? If yes, then go to the prop shop. Based on my experiences, my suggestion is replace with new and keep the old as a spare.
