What board is good for a begginer with bindings under 300?

and how does the board to persons wieght hieght work??

i would check out some of last years model boards and bindings. i got an 04 vision blem for like 120 bucks last year and some other 100 dollar bindings. so if you can, look for a last year model board/bindings or a blem IMO.

and for the second question i probably couldnt answer that correctly.

thanks..im looking at all these sites and the boards are like 125 130 144 not sure what number id need for my size..thats what i havent been able to figure out..or if it even matters that much

matters alot. General rule of thumb is the bigger you are the longer the board. Except in cases like the Fish or Marius wich are wider than the average board.I'm 5'10" 230 lbs and I ride a 143

im 6ft 160 lbs

and the other board will be for 5ft 4" 115 lb person

well for you I'd recomend the 138-142 area

and the other around a 130.

K.Coltman has got the sizes correct.... As for boards... check out Liquid Force Trips and Hyperlite Motives. Check your local shop, or wherever you want to buy from to see what they have.. post the names and you will get a ton of advice and reviews on whatever it is!
