I was just curious about when people are determined pros. Many good riders have sponsors but are not considered a pro what's the difference between amateur and pro?

Anything that is a "profession" is what one depends on for his or her livelihood. So, if a boarder has enough sponsors to make a living w/o a day job or other means of income, then that would be a profession. Although there are variations of the definition. I guess it could go either way.

you're a pro when you start accepting prize money from comps, until then you are an amateur

The WWA has an actualy definition for it... something to do with either having made it to the finals (aka top 8 or 10) in a pro comp, or having made more than $1,000 from prize money (i think that's the amount).

Mobe's are gay.
I'd say when you live off your riding.

Five mobe's.. I'd rather see five different 5's.

technically, in the wwa, once u qualify at a pro event, meaning make it past the first heat, u are pro.

I'd would have 100 times more respect for someone doing 5 different 5's over 5 different mobes.
