I do the same thing as well. I found out that i was bringing the handle to my trailing hip. This would start to rotate me. When you are pulling the rope back in for your landing try bringing the handle towards your leading hip. This helped me be a little more consistant.
You have to much weight on your back foot most likely, you can always just land the krypt, i've never landed a krypt on purpose but have stuck several. Never give up, i've had the board completely to revert but have pulled it back.
