Now that there's been a day since the fire I have all kinds of concerns about the damage to the boat and messing with the insurance guys. Ken and I would like to hear from any of you that have had similar situations and how they turned out. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have concerns about the smell that may never come out of the interior, did the heat cause any structural issues to my boat even though there are only small visible burns to the gelcoat/fiberglass.

Ken's trailer looks like it might be salvagable but there's no question his boat is a gonner. TIA

No expert on this, but if I were in the same situation, I'd go back to the dealer I purchased the boat from and ask them to hook me up with a qualified marine surveyor and have the boat surveyed to get my own expert opinion on whether or not it is salvageable. I might even go so far as to ask for a Mastercraft Rep to take a look at it.
Heat can do strange things to glass and metals. After seeing your pics,I'd want a straight up opinion that I paid for to counterbalance whatever the insurance company might find.
You might even suggest to your agent that they contact Mastercraft and ask for a Rep to check it out.
Good Luck!
