i am carrying maximum 6 person on the boat and i want to know if with the stock ballast plus 1200lbs in fat sack it will be enough or the engine may be not enough torquin ??

I have an '02 with the 310 motor. Unless you're planning to pull up a slalom skier with that much weight, you'll be absolutely fine.

Sounds pretty close to how I weight mine. Just make sure to get the "high altitude" ACME prop (15.5 or 16 pitch).

ok thanks andsomebody can tell me with this settin what will be my fuel range in Gp/h ?? (average)

and if i put the ZR6 gp/h ?

You will be fine with the 330 Excalibur, but you might want to consider a different prop than what will come stock on your boat. Check out this prop review. It was written by the owner of a 2003 SAN with the 330 Excalibur. =showcontent&id=7

I have pretty much the same boat, and have not replaced my prop yet. There is a lag when pulling someone up if I have a bunch of weight in the boat. I will be replacing my prop with an Acme 644 over the winter.

Which motor had 310 HP in '02?

I have an '02 with the excalibur 330, and have had over 2500 pounds ballast and people, and could still get up on my slalom ski behind it. i do Have a team, so the prop has less pitch than the limited or signature models.

What prop would you suggest for the 6.0 375 hp 05' 210 team? Would you even entertain that engine? That still comes stock with the 13.5 x 16 right? Would the additional hp in the 6.0 matched with the 13.5 x 16 make up for the difference in performance without switching to the ACME 644 13.25 x 16VR4B 1.125? Or would you still run the 644? I know of only one way to reduce the rpms and thats increased ci!! Not sure the 6.0 is quite enough though, its not the 8.1 or python. One more question.. Does CC offer the python anymore? I don't think they do.

My '02 has a ford mpi 310hp 351. I use stock prop, have had it loaded with my stock ballast, plus 300 lbs of lead (equivalent to team), and have had 10 guys in the boat, no problem with lack of power.

i personally think that some of the bigger motors are a waste, just take up more fuel (but what do I know?). I doubt that pulls that are too slow are a difficulty for someone using a 310 or 330 horsepower motor. And even if it does take an extra second or two to get up to speed...well, I save a lot of time by not having to refill the tank during the day.

We used to load up my 275 hp TBI Mastercraft, and i thought it did just fine as well. Spend the extra dough on something that will make a difference, like a nice board or something. Just my $.02...

I don't have any direct experience with the ZR-6 with anything except the stock prop. There is a big difference in the ZR-6 and the Excalibur, and any Correct Craft that I purchase in the future will have the ZR-6. I know a guy who has a 206 with the ZR-6, and he absolutely loves that engine. My belief is that the ZR-6 does fine with the stock prop.

I have heard several people say that the 8.1 Python is no longer available in Correct Crafts. I can't imagine that that is actually the case though. PCM still makes the engine, so I don't know why CC would not put it in a boat if it was ordered that way. They already have the designs for the larger engine covers necessary to fit the Python in the SAN and the direct drives. Let me do a little research on this one and get back to you.
