So I bought a copy of the Retrospect DVD at a comp this past weekend and it won't play in my DVD player, so I tried another and it played for around 10 minutes then it said that the disk was defective, Anyone else have this problem? Is this what the recall was all about earlier this summer? And what can I do about it, I mailed sidewayz already and they haven't responded yet. I'm probably just impatient, but lemme know your thoughts

A ton of the original copies of retrospect were defective.....sidewayz had to have them re-done. It was the dvd peoples fault. I had the same problem with mine, but I returned it and the new one, from the second run, was fine. It is a sick dvd, it is so worth the price. Try and return it, I think sidewayz was taking back the messed up copies so your boardshop should get credit for it. This is just specualtion, so anyone that knows more please confirm.....

My copy isn't that bad (for whatever reason, the 1994 worlds footage completely stops on my brother's dvd player). It's not bad enough for me to return it (or to want to return it, I should say), but from past experience, Sideways is really good with this sort of thing, and I'm sure they'll get back to you.

I figured sidewayz would be, and I wouldn't complain either but it won't play at all and it's brand new so I was kinda concerned.
