The last few weeks I have had backward crashes that kind of tweaked my right hip. It would hurt when I got back in the boat, but would then be gone by that evening. The problem is that now it's coming back from regular (non-wakeboarding) activities like swimming and I'm wondering if anyone else has had similar problems. It's right in the hip joint & it's almost as if my leg pops in & out of the ball-joint.

And I'm not that old (28).

i landed badly when i did a backroll a couple of monthds back. i landed really squating and my hip popped out then back in. I'm only 22!!

i rested it a while, then did some lateral movement light weights on it. It occasionally hurts a bit but nothing too bad.

just try and strengthen the muscles around it, and if you can afford it, go to the physio

I got ripped out a few weeks ago. My hip has been sore ever since. It pops when I walk with every step. Seems to be getting better though.
