Stef, that last picture is so beautiful. I saved it as my desktop picture at work.

Josh, riding again and going to pass everyone up soon.

Nic pics Stef...We missed you, we were down in Grant Line....had rain around lunch then the crew wanted to head in. I took the weekend off of riding, but anticipate the arrival of my new board so will be back in action for a day when that arrives.

Head to the doctor on Friday...Great pics and it's good to see Josh out riding!

Thanks for posting the pics of me riding.

Sunday was a great day. It was one of the best times I've had on the water, and in the bar, in a long time. I'm looking forward to the video release. I can't wait to see what makes the final cut and what ends up on the editing room floor. Things definitey got a little wild after we left the bar.

Rob - I think some of the good stuff will have to hit the editing room floor. I think the gerbel reference in the "interview" portion might be a bit too much for wakepics :-)

However, I may create a DVD extended version for the crew so they can see it.

Oh man, half of what's on that tape I forgot about. Please be kind Christie:-)

Rob, I have more pics of you but for some reason they came out blurry. That usually doesn't happen. And you rode before we hit the bar so I can't use the mai tai's as an excuse! Haha! I agree, very fun day on the water:-)

Teri, sorry we missed you. Take it easy with your knee and all!

Nice pictures! Looks like you all had a blast. Josh, you inspire me... little Collin will be looking up to you someday! Only in California, can you be out wakeboarding the same day we are snowboarding only 2 hours away! Gotta love this state! We are truely blessed!

Awesome to see Josh out there again. Sounds like you guys had another great day. My head fell off so I couldn't ride with you guys but it is fixed now so I might try riding next time.

Nice pics Stef. I'll have to agree with Rob, one of the most fun days I've had out there. Thanks again Christie and have fun in Vegas this weekend. Stefani and Ja I think I'm heading out on Sunday if you are interested.

Dave - I don't have any extra tickets right now, but I just called the Cow Palace and they still have some available. It's all GA seating so grab a ticket and go with us!!! I think we might be able to talk a few others into going as well. Stef and Ja, what about you guys??

What are the water temps these days?
Old    jetgofish            02-24-2004, 4:06 PM Reply
Rene, was down at Grant Line Sunday and water temp there was 54
Old    eyesman            02-24-2004, 4:10 PM Reply

I am there! I think?? What date is it?? MARK, GREG, ROB?? You down??

I would be going stag as Alison was deprived of Metillica for years so none of it would make any sense to her;)

Teri, email when the water temps reach 65 and I'll pull my boat out of retirement.
Old    wakelvr            02-24-2004, 4:27 PM Reply
Rene: Christie's boat was reading 59 I believe. It fluctuates a bit during the day but we are almost there!

Winter riding is still better though IMO. We were the only boat on Victoria Sunday. Can't beat having the slough to yourselves!

Old    norcal_99            02-24-2004, 4:40 PM Reply
Stefani, I agree, you can't beat the winter solitude, but I like to relax in my shorts and t-shirt while sipping a beer and soaking up the sunshine.

Until those days are upon us, I'll be spending my weekends on the slopes.

Great to see Josh out on the water! Is it just me, or do son and mom look strangely identical wearing black drysuits? Look at pics 10030 and 10028 in quick succession. Well, I guess that's genetics for ya!

Christie, press off the crest of the wake with your toes a little bit at the last minute on your HS 180 attempts, and it will get you landing on your toeside edge with legs bent (might feel counter-intuitive but works). Keep handle in. Stefani's last video had you falling out over your toe edge on those 180s, which is really awesome progress. It might still feel like you are just falling, but it is worlds, worlds, worlds better than skipping out on your heels every time. Soon, my friend.
... jump down, turn around, pick a bail of cotton!...

Hi, Tammy!

Oops, I meant 10030 and 10029 for maximum effect.

Stef: Missed seeing you guys out there on Sunday. It was the first time I rode Grant Line. Not bad. See ya soon!!

Have a few people volunteering to help teach my kiddo this summer. He is 6 in two weeks!! Josh looks awesome riding, swimming in that suit tho!! Too cute!

Jimmy - That is pretty freaky...I feel like I'm watching my "Mini Me" when he rides...haha! By the way, I can jump down and turn around, but I just can't seem to pick that bail of cotton

Misty - Your son is excited about it so I'm sure he will pick it up in no time at all!
