Anyone riding these? If so, how are they? Where can I get a good deal on a pair?

Thanks!

I've been riding them for a few weeks now and really like them. If you've ever worn a pair of Burton boots with the Speed Zone lacing, it's the same system that LF has licensed from Burton. Very easy to use and the Watson is already a great boot, so I think it's a good combo. I don't know if you're going to get a good deal on them anywhere since they are 2010 LTDs and it's only April, but maybe a local pro shop could give you some kind of small discount.

Hope they are better than my 09 LTD Watsons. I loved the open toes so bought the LTD closed and they piss me off that every time I slightly come out of them or take them off the foot bed comes out. If I take a hard fall and foot comes slightly out the footbed bunches up and I have to take them off. I did buy a 2010 Hybrid Watson and am really liking it. So hope the new boots are better.

Yeah, the new footbed is attached in 2010. Doesn't slip like the 2009s did, which I also have. I never had any problems with my 2009s bunching, had them slide a little when I took the bindings off but went right back into place every time I put them back on.

Glad to see they fixed a known issue. Is the new boot much different in stiffness or fit?

Very similar stiffness as last year, but I think you can get a tighter fit with the Speed Laces because as you pull the laces tight, they are already locked into place. You aren't pulling the traditional laces tight and then pulling the toggle down to the boot and get that little last second slip loosening the boots.

On my '09 Watson Ltd's the base plates are now bending. Anyone have a clue whether they changed the plate's material in '10?

If anyone is interested, I can get standard 2010 LF Watson bindings (brand new) for $365 shipped. Please drop me a line if you would like a pair.

Thanks!
