Stock '01 MC Alternator Specs

Does anyone know the stock alternator output for 2001 MC's? Is there any way to verify the size if there were different sizes available?

probably in the 40-60 amp range

if it is the same as 02, according to my owners manual, all the alternators put out 70 amps @ 2000 rpms, except LQ9 which is 51 @ 2200 rpms... wierd, I wonder why the LQ9 is rated lower, maybe it is a typo or something.

I have 01' x-star w/corvette lt1 and alt is 51 amps just replaced with 160 amp
