I need to replace my brake line in my tube trailer and just ordered a new line with IF tube nuts on the ends.

It seems pretty straight foward and not too terribly difficult. Can anyone who has done this before share any advice?

I am thinking about purchasing a pipe bender, do I need it for aluminum brake line

You can get by with one of the el cheapo benders from oreillys for doing just your trailer. The flaring tools will also last for a couple of lines, but not with stainless.

I've done three now and have never used a bender. Just put light - medium pressure against the tubing with your thumb as you draw it through your hand. The trick is to not make too sharp of bends, you want to make as smooth of a radius as possible. If you do use a bender you'd better get it right the first time as the bender will make a semi-flat radius bend that's virtually impossible to correct if you screw up.
