watermarking photos - Non-Wakeboarding Discussion

I finally got a nice camera that I am putting it to use.

Do any of you have suggestions on watermarking photos?
Watermark style recommendations?
Watermark addition tools?

Canon EOS 60D with EF-S 18-200mm IS lens

you can add a watermark using any photo editing app. style is up to you. just don't make it so obnoxious that it becomes a distraction in the photo.

get a battery grip for your cam.

This. I can't stand when I see a huge watermark in a photo; it really takes away from the photo. Also lower the opacity on your watermark and make it small. It shouldn't be the first thing you notice.

Joe, why should I get a battery grip? To have a bigger battery or something else?

Also, does anyone have a camera bag recommendation? I would like a small one that just fits my camera for easy carry.

I agree on the overt watermarks. If I do a watermark, it will be very small in the corner. Probably two initials only.

BTW, microsoft office picture manager does cropping/sizing but no watermarking.

battery grip will hold 2 batteries, thus giving you more life on your cam.

i have the lowepro slingshot. it's small enough that it's not bulky and heavy, yet roomy enough to hold my cam + grip + lens, 2 additional lenses, 1 speedlight, batteries, lens cleaner and generic flash trigger.

afaik, office pic mgr is for viewing and sorting pics, but you can add watermarks using paint.
