I have my loan approval for 26k and some cash to throw down if I have to. I cant find a boat at all in that price range that holds its value enough for a loan and also has the things I want with it. I was really interested in an 02 X-10 but everything I read said the wake is only sub par and wouldnt be a great wake boat. I really want an older 01 or 02 XStar. I just want something with around 500 hours, perfect pass, balast, and maybe tower speakers if I can. I know they are out there, it just seems like they have all sold already. This is all just so frustrating because I am ready to buy now!

Does anyone know of anything for sale that fits into all those limitations?

Also, any input on those x10s would help. This one is loaded and really close to me and in good shape. I would love to have it but I want a good wake boat. Right now I am almost to the point of driving to Cali to pick one up.

04-05 tige 22or 24v series. although they didn't come with factory ballast you could use BOOBS FOR BALLAST. I THINK ? it's up to you.

patience.... you will certainly find something in that price range with those hours or less. Have seen nautique 210 and old Xstar's (205's) in that price range all the time. just be patient.... it is like the desperate guy trying to find a girlfriend to desperately, you will go home with the ugly girl.... It will happen. Good luck

The x10 wake is not as nice as the x1/205v wake by any stretch of the imagination.

More boats and better prices will be found in the winter, not in the middle of summer.

I know of an 04 X2 which needs A LOT of TLC, but they're only asking 28 (I think). Might be able to talk them down too
It's in NE, Omaha area

Chris, Get with this person they are selling their 02' X-Star and by the looks at it in their profile Michele (shellyrn) looks like a very nice boat.

Hope this helps!

Chris, It's in the WakeWorld classifieds for you to see.

I just want to have one like now! My loan approval runs out july 14th at my locked in interest rate. I have looked for the nautiques too. Everything is sold.

The one in tenn is in contract.

The red X-star in the classifieds has not got back to me yet.

What kind of TLC does the X2 need?

Can anyone give me any more insight on the X10 wake? I have heard some say it is decent with 2500+ pounds in it.

I am also going to check out those other boats mentioned

Chris,
That X2 Darin was talking about I am darn sure it is sold. It got a full detail, low hours, and he got good money for it. More than you want to spend. Just thought I would let you know.

Well good new for me, I am the proud new owner of a 01 x-star. It has enough goodies for me and 470 hours. I am going to Texas to pick it up this weekend and will have it on Ohio waters before Sunday is over. Any tips on weighting it? It has stock tanks in rear and ski locker, and two 250 sacks for the front. We also have a 750 fat sack to throw in. Any tips rope length and speed to start dialing it in? I am so excited to get it back.

The only real prob is that a couple of the seats inside are coming apart and have huge rips. Where can I quickly get new covers for them and what is a guess on what I will have to spend? Thanks for any help.

Try Primal covers. They make towel type slip ons.
Congrats on the new boat.

Correction, Tige has been offering factory ballast for many years. It's an option just like many others.

Chris, I live in Columbus. I have to sell my boat due to injury. It's a loaded/ clean/2006 Vride. I will be selling in the next week or two as soon as I can walk with out crutches. I'm looking to sell it close to 30k. The boat is loaded, heater, all stainless accessories, four racks with lift off titan racks, full automatic ballast, wedge. The boat is sangria and sandstone (malibu's colors). Send me a pm if your interested.

I think the search is over.

That boat likes weight in the nose (had an 06 X-1). But it is a legendary wake. We would ride anywhere from 65 to 80 feet back and the wake was fine. Speed depends on weight. We had ours with so much weight a few times it would hardly plane, so much fun. I miss that boat.
