Belews creek

My boats been in the shop for the last month and a half because I tore the prop and shaft up at Norman. So I haven't been to Belews in a while how is the water level?? I don't want the same thing to happen again. I usually put in at piney bluff but I'm afraid I couldn't get through the bridge becasue the water is to low. Any Information would help.

We ride at Belews all year round and the water is pretty low right now. I put in at Carolina Marina and 2 weeks ago they had 2 of the ramps blocked. That is usually the safe place to launch when the water level is down. We were already backing the trailer in past the end of the dock and it was still pretty shallow. Hasn't stopped many from joining the circus out there though.

Hey Blair, sorry to hear about the boat... The water is down about 32 " shallow in spots, but the lake could drop another 3 or 4 feet and you could still ride... However, you would not be able to put in a Piney Bluff... Hit one of us up, we'll be out this weekend for sure... You're welcome to hop on board.

Thanks for the offer but I'm kind of inching to get out there in my boat since I haven't had her for awhile. I'll be out Sunday for sure what boat are you going to be in.

To be honest I don't know... I'm selling my Supra (if you know anyone looking) and picking up a new one... Guess we'll be in an orange Avalanche if on Sunday...

Hey Blair,
I know Humphries is still getting a lot of traffic and Carolina Marina had a back hoe digging at there ramps this past weekend, so You should be good either way, I probably would stay away from Piney bluff though. No telling who's boat will be floating this weekend. Probably either be riding by the s curves or in front of Carolina marina. Drop a line if your going to make it out.

Thats about his price rang he's just worried about the wake on a dd. Is your ballast in the floor or hidden.

Blair, I ride in that boat a lot and he has all of the weight plumbed and hidden. The wake is huge and the surf wake on the port side is massive.

blair, all ballast is hidden -- i have definitely had no complaints about the wake on this boat... feel free to give me a buzz or give him my # -- the boat needs to go, i'm not going to give it away, but i do have room to move.... 336-451-4344
