Well I finally got some Tower speakers and am looking to get a second amp to run it. HOWEVER, since that will have to wait awhile (Funds and wife), I need some advice on utilizing my current amp and on a new amp for the tower. Here are some specs for the amp and speakers... Amp: Kicker IX406 (All RMS) 40w x 6 4ohm 55w x 6 2ohm 115w x 3 bridged mono 4ohm Speakers: 4 stock JVC cabin speakers 1 10" Kicker comp sub 4 6x9 tower speakers (Clarion Power series) Currently I am running the sub bridged on 2 channels and am running the cabin speakers in parallel on 2 channels. I took out the second sub that I had to make room for the tower speakers. I was thinking of daisy chaining the tower speakers 2 in series and that pair in parallel for a 4ohm load. But it will only give each speaker about 30w (115w/4). Can anyone think of a better way to wire these speakers up? I am even willing to run the cabin speakers off the deck. I know I won't get a whole lot of sound out of the tower yet but need to make due for now. PS This amp is definitely underrated wattage wise, these are the printed RMS wattages. Thanks for any help
