We've got an '07 Denali, which I think is a great truck, with one small exception...not too impressed with the brakes, especially important when towing the boat.

So...I bought an SSBC front brake kit with a larger discs and calipers. Planning to have it put on...but here's my question; I know you're supposed to avoid heavy braking immediately after putting on new brakes...should I also avoid towing the boat for the initial 1k or so miles? That would really suck, as we're just getting geared up to spend time on the water...but I also don't want to warp the discs on some brakes that weren't that cheap...
