I have been riding for about 2 years...just wondering how long it took for some of you to progress

Are you having fun when you go out? To me that is all that matters. I rode for 3 years behind a jetski and didn't learn that much. I've had a boat for 2 years now and have landed (but not consistently) tantrums and 360s. I simply enjoy riding, and the majority of us out there will never do a mobe, and I realized that at 33 my priorities are closer to riding longer and staying healthy that throwing a sick backroll to blind.

i started progressing when i started riding with some friends that i hadnt hung out with for a long time. Never had anybody to push me. i was stuck in one spot for like two years. Ive made more progress in the last year riding with these guys than in all my time wakeboarding prior. If you ride with guys who are really good, it makes you wanna progress.

Years dont mean a thing. Its how many days on the water my friend. If you rode 5-10 days a year, in ten years you would have progressed less than someone riding 40+ days a year in one year.

Just have fun, as long as your havin fun thats all that matters. If your really trying to progress, ride with people better than you; that helps a lot.
