I've been told that Neoprene vests run small. Figured I'd check with the experts. I'm in an XL Obrien Nylon type vest that I've had for 2 years. Would I be looking at an XXL? 5' 11" 190lbs Thanks much!!

At that size, I was wearing a large O'Neil Assault...it was snug. I also wore an XL O'Neil Outlaw that was about right.

I think the neoprene vests stretch (as compared to nylon), so you're able to go with a smaller size instead of larger.

6 - 170 lbs and I wear a Jobe vest size medium. Are you big in the shoulders or big in the gut. If fashioning a six pack - get the large, if your supporting a keg get the xl.

I am 6' 3" 120 lbs and go with an XLG Hyperlite Premier Recoil, fits perfect. John is right, you should want to go with a little smaller vest. One that is pretty snug out of the water, they will loosen in the water more than your traditional vest. At your size probably Large, but maybe depending on the Oneil fit, an XLG.

Good info and chuckle too. I'll go with an XL. I like to think I'm sporting 2 liter abs. Thanks all!
