Thought I'd share some glass with you guys. Topsail Island, NC, Thanksgiving weekend. Glass for as far as the eye can see. My boat was 700 miles away in Tampa. Sigh.

The east coast has had the best fall in years from what I hear. I've seen some amazing footage of big perfect surf. They deserve it after the horrible summer they had.

Yeah, my fiance's parents have a beach house there and I'm there probably 20 days of the year. The surf is typically like that at least 10 days while I'm there. I assure you I was out surfing every day this past trip.

I was in VA beach the 3 days after the hurricane and the waves were huge. Most likely around 8-10 feet. It was right after a hurricane and I know its obvious they would be huge, but I've never seen waves that big. It was awesome. There were more surfers than you could imagine out there.
