I have my Ipod mini, and I have plugged it into the audio in in the stereo (sony cdxmp40) But i do not know how to get it to come through the speakers. any help would be great

Can you change your unit to the 'aux' input? Also, look at getting a IRock. It is a little mini transmitter that will transmit your MP3 player around 85mhz so you don't have to worry about plugging it in... you just tune to it.

fm transmitters suck plug it directly in. If you have a transmitter and the interference in your car bothers you wait till your in your boat its even worse.

I don't believe the MP40 has an aux in. You can try a preamp/EQ/x-over like the Clarion EQS744
