I've been really thinking about automating my ballast lately. I've got a pair of LP 440's right now that I can use for my system. I'm too cheap to buy Fly High Sacs..lol.. Anyway my question/s is has anyone used LP 440's (with the water bed fittings) in their auto ballast? How did u do it? Any regrets? Thanks.

Tony

Don't use the blue fitting. Stick a hose barbed union fitting in there and hose clamp it. Lots of people do it that way and have been for years. It will save you a couple dollars.

There are a ton of other threads on the subject. Use wakeworld's search to find them.

Found it. For anyone else interested in checking out this install, here's the link. http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/m...tml?1143859903

It seems that the guy ended up going with Fly High after all. The pics are about 2/3 (red sac) at the bottom of the page. Super clean install. It didn't look like he used hose clamps on the sac tho, which I plan on using. Now to get passed the anxiety of drilling holes on ma baby...

Thanks...
