you could drop a bulldozer full of concrete ontop of the doyle and it wouldnt have a scratch.

get the doyle, its perfectly weighted and extremely well balanced, not to mention its indestructable.

Ryan Doyle has not broken one to this day, an amazing feet and testimony to the strength of the board

I just bought the gator pro model, it is easy to spin in the flats and stays with you over the wake no matter how big you go. The first day I rode it, I rode away from the biggest wake2wake I have ever popped and my buddy stuck a 3 shuv in 5 tries.

Also, the clear S#!T griptape that comes with gator skates is worse than foam. I got mine re-gripped with jessup at a local skate shop for 10 bucks.

Either would be great choices. The only problem will be the fact that Gator didn't make any composite boards for 07. So you will have to wait til the 08 is released to get the Doyle. I rode the living heck out of my 07 Pro Model and other than the fact that it didn't have any kind of plastic, fiberglass, or PBT bottom I would still be riding it today. I am now riding an 06, yep that's right, Urban Slider 41 and it is sweet as well. Really poppy board, little more than the Pro Model, but that could be the extra weight that the Urban Slider has. I ride all 3 of these without either fin, and they still ride great. The pro model is probably the best without fins, then the Doyle. But the Pro Model I believe is one of the best boards out there. It is a great board for a beginner all the way up to a seasoned pro. Truth is you really can't go wrong with any of the Gator skates.
