So who have been to one and what do ya think? I was thinking of taking a week and going to a place like world wakeboard center. It’s not "that" ridiculous price but I would like to hear from some people that have been there or other places before I commit.

Do a search and you'll get to see good responses...

The Boarding School or The Wakeboard Camp

Well then...I'll do nothing but praise Shaun Murray, Travis Moye, Kyle Rattray & Jeff Langley out at The Boarding School. Its a top notch operation, not crowded and always have perfect water abd super fun guys. Plus you get to ride behind the #1 Xstar out there or a lovely 230.

Heres what the water was the entire week I was there!

The Wakeboard Camp is AWESOME too. A wind protected lake lake in a small town with a bar right across the street. They also take a day at OWC for Kickers and rails.

Are there any camps/schools/instructors in the Lake Norris area in Tennessee?

+3 for the Wakeboard camp. Went there 2 times in the last two years and loved every minute of it. I also highly recommend Learnwake.com. Going to the camp is awesome, but there is only so much you can learn over a few days. Learnwake allows you to have a follow-up to your lessons.

If your looking for something a little closer to the downtown orlando area, come by orlando watersports complex. We have a brand new 2012 nautique 230, fully slammed pushing about 3500 lbs. dowdy lands his mobe dick 7 on it w2w...I ride it often, its a perfectly slammed 230. Sets are only 60$ for a half hour or 100$ for a full hour.. Im the head boat coach and can definitely help you out with any trick you want to learn. Just posting this for validity

I havent been to any others besides TheBoardingSchool, but it was one of the best experiences of my life. Travis is a super awesome guy, stocks the house up with whatever food you want, and does whatever he can to make you feel welcome. He's done above and beyond what anyone should ever expect from a business. If there is such thing as "customer service" at wake boarding schools Travis is top notch. I had one more set left that I had paid for, but opted not to take. I emailed Travis a whole year later and offered to pay for a pull, and he told me he remembered I had a couple sets left, and it was on the house!
