ive been looking to get a new boat but i dont really want to pay to much. Which boat would you say has the best wake out of the X-1, mobius XLV, and the v-ride?

Go ride behind those boats. Which ever you comeback to say has the best wake is probably the boat for you. None of the boats that you listed are under par in quality.

I'm a fan of the X1 wake, however, I would recommend the V-Ride for the best bang for your buck . . . considering room, performance, wake, and resale value.

My $0.02

ive ridden behind the x1 and i have an xlv, the x1 wake is great wake but i prefer the xlv. its gets super big and steep and i like to surf alot and the xlv has an amazing surf wake and the x1 doesnt have a great surf wake. but honestly they are 2 totally different boats, one is 20' and one is 23'

The V-Ride is the original VLX hull which had a great wake!

I hear a lot about the vride these days.

I prefer the x-1 wake to the XLV.

I have never ridden the SV23 wake hull on the v-ride but I like the rest of the bu's..

The V-ride as an excellent wake and it is the best bang for your buck...add a nose sac and the wake is world class.

diddo some comments above, depends on who's the closest dealer, do they do a good job, etc. Ask people who've dealt with them. I am bias, but man when you're talking about the old PWT boat, it is hard to go against it. I also owned a 99 and 2001 X-Star's. I really miss the 01 at times, phenominal boat. Proven hull, proven wake and still in high demand = great resale. also my $0.02.

I have only ridden behind the V-Ride. It has a geat wake but it's kinda decent stock. Put 500s in the lockers stock center 200-300 lb way in the nose. That is an awesome wake
