Used Boat Market

Anybody out there selling a boat can give me an update on what the used market is like for late model inboards (i.e. 2001-2002)? With the economy, gas prices, etc. thinking I may be able to get a deal(many people may not be willing to fork over $30K if they may lose their job). On the other side of coin, I need to sell my 88 ProStar to help with the purchase of the new boat - wondering if I'll have problems selling it... Anyone?

Check out boattraderonline or flipsell. They can probably give you the best estimate of what you can sell your boat for.

In my opinion the market is flooded with used boats. Look at boattraderonline. They have hundreds of ski/wake boats for sale. Most of the used late model boats I see for sale are priced very close to new prices. Flipsell is a great site and don't forget wakeworld classifieds.

Thanks for the input. I have been looking at FlipSell and boattrader - there are a lot of boats for sale. The thing I find interesting is many (most!) of the boats on those sites are dealers selling used boats. Whatever happened to private sellers - this seems like a better way to go - at least for the buyer. The NADA prices are structured to include overhead, etc and thus are usually priced higher than blue book value.
