Right now I have my Ipod connected to the aux port of my HU via the earphone jack. Can someone tell me if I would get better sound quality if I used the dock connection?? I don't want to by the kit if it doesn't make a BIG improvement. BTW, the sound quality isn't a good as I thought it would be the way it is set up now. And I already have the AUX up to the max db.

I used both in the last 2 weekends. The dock connection requires less AUX level and the sound quality is way better, IMO. Only drawback is no charging, but my Mini-Ipod lasted all weekend and we have a charger onboard anyway for emergencies.

NYKO Stereo link is what I got, splits into and RCA, 6' long. We have it into a CMD4, and I set the AUX level on MED (only has low-med-high). Nice because you don't have to fiddle with two volume controls. Sounded really good and the sound level was comparable to the CD's sound level at the same volume number. It cranked pretty nice with minimal distortion.

It's a cheap chord, you should try it for yourself, you can get em on ebay for 10 bucks + shipping.

Anything for a fellow caffeine addict.
