Going to be one of the drivers at a high school youth boat trip in a few weeks. I currently have a State 140 and Ronix Vault 144. I am looking to get a smaller beginner board for the smaller students. Planning to get the smaller bindings (4-8ish) as well.

Any recommendations between a 2017 Hyperlite State 2.0 130 or a Ronix Vault 134? (The 134 is the smallest the Vault comes in)

Thx for your help.

IF they are just beginners I don't see any harm in just using the 140. will be easier to get up and just ride behind the boat. if they are progressing and the size is very big for the person ye maybe then you need a 134 or something.

Thanks for the comment.

They are definitely beginners. One concern though is how well the freshman/softmore girls are going to fit in the 7.5-11 mens boot on the 140. I think I am leaning toward getting something smaller, just not sure what.
