Does anyone have Polk tower speakers in an Aluminum can? If so, can you post a pic. Interested in this set up.

Here are mine. They are the dB650's in Aluminum cans that a buddy of mine made.

nice cans! how were tehy made? they look great! are the racks homemade as well? any pictures of those?

They were made from aluminum pipe with an aluminum plate welded on the end. The cans were run through a cleaning pass on a metal lathe. After some final sanding, I sent them off to a powder coater.

The dB650's were a little small, so I sleeved the aluminum with a piece of PVC pipe. The PVC was liquid nailed in and also provides a nice barrier to prevent "pinging."

I ordered 4 of Raul's clamps and used them. The cans are mounted on a FCT.

My buddy made four for his boat except he used the Polk Momo's and the cans are white. They look pretty good as well.

As far as the racks, those come on the boat. They are manufactured by some company named CCC or something. They were on the boat when I bought it.
