I just went to Texas Mastercraft and picked up my Christmas present. An 09 Ronix One with the 09 One boots. It seems like they made a few changes from the 08. And the boots are unbelievably comfortable, and light. I might have some pictures up in a few days...

Yea Sam, they have stepped it up this year. I would recommend any of their stuff. The One, Mana, and Ibex were all about the same boards, except for a few features. I was going to get the Ibex but they didn't have it in my size.

Everything about 09 RON1X is top notch. I am on the Viva for 09 and I love it. Did you mold your boots?

I haven't molded them yet, I was going to go back after Christmas and mold them. Did you mold yours, Sam?

Ya for sure. The bindings are always super comfortable no matter what but I love the extra support from molding them.

Does it change the look of the outside the boots when you mold them?

Sam, I need your help. My 10 year old bro wants a new board, he is a pretty good rider for his age. He wants a Ronix board, and is looking at the Bill and the Mana. He likes a loose board that is pretty fast. What would you recommend for him? Cause he refuses to listen to me.

the mana is NOT a fast board. when gilding straight behind the boat (off edge) the mana is quite slow and has a fair bit of drag. also, with the size and depth of the molded fins, its not that loose either even w/o center fins. not putting this board down, because i love everything about it, i just needed something faster. its pop will make you say, gawd dayyyum if you hit the wake properly on edge.

dont know about the arcade/bill. supposedly fast and skatey w/o center fin.

Tom Have you ridden any hyperlite boards to compare the mana to? An thinking about changing from the 06 murray to the mana the murray is a slow board so if the mana is quicker than it will go for it.

i just realized that I should have gotten the Ibex instead of the One. I will probably have to take the One back after Christmas. I just looked at the specs and I thought it was wider....

I'm a retard.....

I'm getting the 09 One setup this season as well. I can't wait to put the order in. I've had the 07 One since it first came out and I have 08 One bindings. How much better are the 09 bindings vs the previous years? Thats been my only complaint is the bindings aren't the most comfortable pair I've ever owned.
