Lakes in Europe???

Hi there guys, im arranging a road trip with the boat through europe next year and wondering if anyone knows of any good lakes that might be suitable in spain, italy, France etc?? Thanks

Only familiar with two lakes in France. In Biscarosse (2 miles from the atlantic ocean, but the lake is fresh water). There are 2 lakes you can board on, see my website for photo's. And another lake (more in the direction of Italy) is Annecy. There are some wakeboard boats on them, and looks like a killer wakeboard place.

I've been wakeboarding on Lac Annecy in France and I can confirm it's a killer place to wakeboard. Also for cycling and parapenting!

It's about 30 miles south of Geneva.

Hi, there are some great lakes in Europe. There are some in the south of spain, along the french mediteranien cost and in the north o italy. Theres are also some killer places in Austria, Switzerland and Germany. So if You need more information, contact www.wakesport.de or give me a PM.

Hi guys that is great to know!! Any chance you could be alittle more specific where to go in Spain and Italy?? I have just got back from Annecy and it was VERY cool!! To the extent i am going back on the road trip next year and it is what fuelled my enthusiam to arrange this road trip!! Please help me out guys, where to go???? Thanks

Danny, I just saw that you're from the UK. There are some UK guys on the Lake of Biscarosse. It's a good place to board, we're going there to end our saison in the 3rd week of september. Check out google with something like BlondesAir for the UK guys.
