Are the new "Infinity" tower speakers any good?

A local stereo dealer gave rave reviews about these speakers. Can anyone out there give me their input.

I'm wondering this also. The pods look damn cool, and you can get a package which includes the speakers, amp, and microphone for around $1k. Would be cool to use the microphone to bark instructions to the rider? lol

There is a pair on ebay. Is this a good price? Does anyone know??

It's a $699 system through Infinity so $439 is a pretty good price if you ask me and I've heard this setup is pretty sweet.

I don't have them, but from the looks of the package, i would have to pass. The clamps don't look very strong. I can't tell if those are 6 1/2's, but they do seem to have pretty good wattage handling capabilities.

Here's what i did, that i've been very happy with. I bought a 6 speaker box (6 6 1/2's) from Sounds Unlimited for $500 including clamps, then bought brand new Infinity 62.5i's off eBay, 3 pairs at about $70/pair brand new (and about 1/2 of retail). All told, cost around $800 and they sound great. Here's a pic

daym that has to be uber loud. I have 4 infiniti kappas in my car and its loud , people must be able to hear you music before they can even see you.

Buy liquidtrends or 80ft out box , they look nice and are little different. Put 4 6X9's, power them , nothing louder. Plus when 6X9's blow they are cheap to replace. Box should be around $400 speakers (Pioneer 6X9's) around $125/set , the whole thing under $700
