Whatever happened to the Roam boards? I own an '08 Hyperlite Roam board and I love it.

I remember Ronix made something too..

I've been using my '07 Ronix Ones with my '08 Roam and I'd like to use my '09 Ronix Cells instead but they don't fit...

Is there an adapter plate or something I can use to get my '09 Cells to mount?

These things are dope, why'd they stop making them?

Ronix stopped making the Covenant after a year of production.

There are small adapters that should allow you to affix your Cells with a 7" plate to the 08 Roam with 8" inserts. Those small shiny aluminum things that should have come with your cells should do the trick. One on the medial side of each boot and you should be covered. I would think anyway.

Indeed, I love the hell outta my Roam too but I use my Co. Severance 142 and save the Roam as a backup. Sorry for the huge pick

Just wanted to throw out there, we are also fans of this style board and that we have one in the works. Last week while at the factory we drew up the core design. Let's just say we are throwing some tech and high end materials into it. I can't wait to get to R&D it!

Awesome! Please keep us updated on it. I love the '08 roam but the '09 roam (less width at the nose/tail) was the best IMO. A newer core could be ridiculous in the '09 shape.

What makes the narrower shape of the '09 better than the wider '08 version? I always thought it would kinda ride like a trick ski

nothing more than personal preference. The plus side to the older boards is the extra surface area=HUGE ollies.

i rock an 08 Roam with new Cells on it, need 2 sets of adapter plates though. They came standard in 09, but have to buy them starting in 10. Ask your buddies if they have any spares, otherwise you can buy them here:http://www.ronixstore.com/products/p...31.0.0.0?pp=8&

Unfortunately, yes, you need 2 sets of them. Like I said, try to see f your buddies have any they don't use, or check with your boardshop to see if they have any

Ive gone through like 3 2005 roams then finally got it traded in for a 2009 one which is currently my cable board. I also bought an 08 one (strictly for butter, no rails) for 100 bucks. Those boards are the ultimate switch up from everyday riding if it starts to get too repetitive
