talk to jason buffalow. hes just as big and he rips pretty well. he produced the movie delta sessions and also has his own section in it. also if you have ever heard of a guy named jeff hier he was a huge guy as well, and he rode the pro tour and did very well for quite a few years. hyperlite used to make signature boards for him.

Gotta sing it..... Oh give me a home Where the wakeboarders roam And the wind and the chop are at bay. Where seldom is heard A discourageing word And the skies are not cloudy all day. Home, Home on the wake.... Where you're glad just to be at the lake And thats where I found My friends were around I'll bring beer and you bring the steak!

I've only ridden four boards myself. Two of them were the Belmont 136 and 141. Kept the 141. I'm 6'0" and weigh 220. I'd look for something around 143cm or so if I were you. Try the Board Wizard on this site too. Keep us posted on your progress!!

The bigger board the better, I am the same size as you and have a LF rythm 147. Too bad there is not a better performance board made for the big guy, anyone out there know of one?

I am in your class (6'& 260#) and ride the Byerly 142, have for years. Anything in the 142/143 should work fine.

Alright I start a post to help you out and then Robin offers to give you a lap dance for landing a wake to wake?!! I didn't get a kiss for a backroll, a tantrum, a front roll, nothing! No positive reinforcement for you dang it! HAHA just kidding, I especially like the fact Ryan deleated the post that initially asked for the lapdance. lol

Hey ryan, i just thought i would say whats up. Im 6'8 and 300 and ive been wakeboarding for a few years(just bought a new moomba for this year) SOmetimes all of the little guys on the boat make us big guys feel out of place but you just have to do it and have fun. Im twice the size of most boaders but i still do a decent job and have a great time. Everyone in wakeboarding is more than helpfull and nice about us big guys riding. I use a older hyperlite 147 but going to a 143 this year. You might look at the LF DLX 147 would be a great starting board. P.S. i wish a girl would have offered that to me when i was first learning
