Has anyone gone from Rio Vista to Sacramento on the river. Any pointers? How far? Anything we should look out for? Anything would be great!

Thanks

I tried it once. I hit something in the water, hard. Got scared, turned around.

I have done it in bigger/cruiser type boats, can be fun.

I tried Sac. to Rio Vista once. I almost got totally swamped when a huge 60' cruiser passed me just south of the Rio Vista Bridge. ----I just turned around and fled like a little girl. BTW it should take you about 1-1-1/2 hours tops.

Wow! I didn't think it would be that scary. Has anyone accomplished this feat?

done it a few times. If you just stay the course it should be ok. there is deep water all the way. Just wach out for floating debris. No different than just a normal day on the delta.
