i just got mine in. the 138 has the exact same graphics as last years board. the 142 is the one with new graphics. im assuming that Ricky is now riding the 142. the 133 will have new graphics as well.

shape has minor changes. mostly to the top of the deck. the top-middle is raised where you put the bindings. the bottom has really small fins between the removable fin and the molded fin.

cant wait to ride. i'll post pics later. but it looks almost identical to the 04.

Sounds pretty cool, cant wait to see. I think you should consider yourself lucky you got the 04 graphics. I wasnt real big on the "praying hands" thing. I personally think the 04 black graphic is one of the coolest graphics ever!

The black is the 05 graphic,we sold out of the wht and did an early release on the 04 board.hope you enjoy give me some feed back peace.

Damien is right. It's hard to see, you have to look pretty close. But I still like the 138 Graphic the best.

the raised part on the top deck. this keeps the bindings planted on the deck even on the rocker line. an AWESOME idea!

That is really sweet. I know the 04 still tracks great without the center fin, so Im sure those extra little fins will only improve on that. And they are so little I would imagine that it would still release easily. I wonder what their theory is on the rised binding area? It seemed like most companies were working on sinking them down further in the board, like the new byerly. I know that snowboarding companies have been experimenting with risers to quicken the edge to edge feel on wider boards, but that doesnt really apply to wakeboarding. Hmmm? Ok, Im done analyzing. Im sure it rocks!
And I still think that is the coolest graphic ever!

The raised area on the top allows the bindings to sit flush on the board. Or closer to flush anyway.

Take the Parks board for instance. I had a Parks board with Parks bindings. The rocker line was right under the bindings if you rode with your bindings all the way out. This created a good amount of flex in the bindings. Mine had a 1/4 inch space between the bottom of the bindings and the board. Granted the Parks board has mad rocker, this will be present in any modern day 3-stage board.

With this raised area, the bindings manage to set alot flusher(if thats a word) with the board, allowing minimal binding flex. Gator has done their research on this one. Hell of a board.

But, you know toolfan, I really dont think you are going to get the full advantage with those Ultra's. I think you are going to need some Zippers!

im installing them right now. im gonna have a vinyl sheath around the bindings that hide the overlays that will encapulate the binding. the vinyl is black with a gold zipper. on top of that, will be another useless layer of vinyl to hide the zipper.

Bryen, from what I understand, the 138's will have the other "skull" graphic. I havent seen the 133 yet. But those first pics posted from toolfan is the 05 138.

The 05 138 will have the EXACT same graphic of the black 04. The 142 will have the "praying hands". And the 133 graphics have not been released.

I cant believe that Ricky rode 136-138 for all these years. He's a pretty big dude. He deserves a 142, and now he gots it.
