Just started rough shaping my wifes little 4'9''. Gonna be a throw back to the 70's with twin fin setup and the diamond tail. Should be a nice little cruiser for the ladies in my life.

if it was a throwback from the 70's you know it would have a big 8" single fin glassed in and the board will be yellow brown and the fin would be yellower browner, lol.

I like that shape. I wasn't sure when we were talkin bout it yesterday, but a pic is worth a thousand words.

And for cryin out loud move that f'ng bike already!!! ahaha

Maybe an old school Rainbow brand skeg would do the trick lol. You haven't seen the bike since I finished it eh? Can't ride the eff'r because the bars are to high. Arizona statute states bars can not be higher than shoulder high. Cop was cool, could have got me for the bars and no AZ motorcycle endorsment. He let me go with a pep talk about other officers will cite you for the bars. I think he just wanted to check out the hog.

Cool lookin' shape to this board. What's the width and thickness?
What made you change your mind from the original shape you cut?

It was just looking to narrow in the tail, So I shortened it up and cut the diamond tail. The swallow is used on boards with wider tails so it wasn't gonna provide any function really. The diamond will provide some drive and speed without as much release. I also took out some of the rocker also .

Mikey, I have another thread titled "shaping disasters" also. I figured these boards would turn out to be disasters lol.

I love the shape of that thing, looks comfortable and maneuverable. One of the things that I don't like about the surf style boards is that they are ugly, this one is not.

Thanks Alan, I have surfed my entire life(ocean) so I am trying to stay with a surf board look. I to don't like some of the funky shapes floating around.
