'06 Volvo XC90
'07 Supra 21v

We really wanted to get some hours on this boat, so we went to the closest open lake we could find in Alberta. Others were still closed/frozen. Water was 45-47 degrees. Winter jackets and toques to top off a good first outing. I'll let the pics speak for themselves.

How does the XC 90 pull? And how much does that supra weigh on the trailer?

Nice color on the boat....looks like it dwarfs the Volvo though. How does it pull?

Very nice horsysh. I looked at the XC-90. It should be great for pulling that. Kind of nice having the lake all to yourself, isn't it.
You're going to have a good summer.

Chad, Boat is fossil and black.

Art, we did have Little Bow all to ourselves that day, but in about another month or so, it becomes one of the busiest lakes around. No complaints though, its still big enough for everyone for now.

The XC90 puts down enough power and torque to tow the 4,300 pound boat and trailer comfortably. Uses up a good bit of the power band to get going but it's nothing to complain about. Very smooth ride even with that much weight behind it. The SUV doesn't get tossed around too easily.

Here is another pic for XC90 to 21V size comparison:
