I was there a month ago. Stayed at Lake Roy Beach Inn. Went over to Lulu and on to Eloise. I had to push the boat into the start of the canals. I did this trip 3 times. On the last trip back to the boat ramp on Lake Roy I hit a rock under the bridge between Roy and Lulu. $150 prop repair to a BRAND NEW prop. I was pissed. I would not recommend it. I also have an Xstar, so it probably isnt the best boat for the canals. I went for the weekend and was determined not to stay in Little Lake Roy all weeknd.

As of two weeks ago you could not get through the canal on Lake Roy. We had to relaunch to hit up Eloise.
