Every now and then when I pull a boarder out of the water my boat will hesitate and cough a couple times when you give it gas quickly. Is there a simple fix for this? Its a malibu skier euro f3 with 250 hours on it.

Needs a new accelerator pump. Basically time for a carb overhaul.

I would say professional thing, but there should be no reason you could not remove it and take it to someone to have it rebuilt. There should be a carb specialist in your area.

Dealers UGH!

Try this.....

I bought a remanufactured carb from these guys. Just bolt it on and send the old one back to them. A bit more expensive than rebuilding the one you have, but nearly foolproof.
