i just looked at them both side by side. the a-10 has a flex panel in the back that stretches and flexs better. the a-10 also has padding on the side.
the stance is the exact same except it doesnt have the flex panel and padded sides

The A-10 and the stance are for the most part the same vest. According to my Jet Pilot rep, the only difference is that the A-10 has the removable rib pads.

Wakeman, the stance impact area have a different channel pattern. The A-10 have a more aggressive impact area. It looks like it will displace water better, thus better protection. Between the chest area and the side kidney pads, it's definitely worth takin' a look at for a few more dollars. I find the flex zone is a nice feature, but doesn't add that much comfort. Both are a win-win!

honestly, i have a A-10 and before it i had a rip curl stealth and liked it a lot better, i floated a little better and i think it offereed more protection, but im not selling my A10 anytime soon so im NOT saying its a bad vest

I ended up getting an oniel outlaw. I used it at owc today and loved it. It is light thin flexible and floats good.
