I Know that this is maybe the wrong thread but thought I might get other information Need to know what board is best for a person like me at 280 lbs. Used a 5'6" inland surfer last weekend, but could not let go of the rope. I am sure that that board is not big enough for someone my size. I have seen ads for Shoreline boards and A Wake Boards. Anyone have experience.

Im not an expert but I would say you should go a bit bigger because of your weight. I just bought a 5"6 and I am 190 I almost went a little bigger but thought hey, I am starting my diet tomorrow lol I have been saying that for 2 years.

Shred Stixx are great for larger riders. They custom built mine to my size. It's super easy to find and stay in the sweet spot. I've ridden many and in my opinion, the Shred Stixx is, by far, the easiest to ride.
