Wow what a week.
Thursday was Liquid Force - Trip Across America, with Melissa Marquardt (Tino Santori was scheduled to show, but unfortunately wasn't able to make it I guess). LF had a demo area set up where you could grab just about any board/binding combination and head straight out to the water to ride! I chose a substance and transit combo and loved it (although i grabbed the wrong size transits and couldnt feel my toes after my run ). After riding, Josh and Tyler had a BBQ set up so everyone could grab a burger or hotdog (or 3-4 if you're name is Geoff Howell).

Friday was 'Parks Bonifay Day' with Hyperlite. Even though he is still recovering from a knee injury, Parks took a run and showed us all how the pro's "take it easy" with a sick run. Super cool guy, and a lot of fun to hang out with. Again there was a demo area set up where HL has probably 50 boards set out from the little 109 kid's board I saw to surfboards and everything else. I rode a 140 Parks with Murrays, and I think this is the new setup I'm buying.

I took a handful of pics, sorry no really good riding shots, but I'll try to post some of the ones I took on here. Huge thanks to Josh and Tyler!! You guys really know how to have a good time.

Jeff, how's the channel at Elsinore? Looks pretty nice when I drive by. It's been a long drought without it.

"Blake was so excited he could hardly contain himself." Booo!

The fact that every pic of Geoff and myself, shows us drinking our favorite beverage, should explain the "retards" statement... Steve, on the other hand, looks to be wearing women's sunglasses? I don't think there's an excuse for that.

Good times out there at the Lagoon, as always.

Parks is definitely a cool, down to earth, guy. Not once did he give the impression that he was anything different/better than us. He spent a decent amount of time, hanging out, BSing, doing whatever we asked... And he even took a couple cheap shots on my whiteness/tanning situation... What a ! J/K.

Definelty a great time. Geoff and Blake drinking?
Never seen that happen before.
As Steve said, Parks was def. very chill and kewl
to hang out with, even though we got there late, I at least got to shake his hand..he he..
It was kewl that I got to demo a different Hyperlite set and all. The 3D's and Murray's were
sweet. but I still like my Parks board.
Well guys see you all when we get back from Powell..Hopefully at the Wakesports Event @ Fiesta.

Laterzz

Don't worry Hannah, I don't think you're a nerd...

Tim and I didn't go either, somehow the day just slipped away. We definitely should have gone Friday, though.

Tyler,
Good point, I take it back... Kevin is one of my favorites, he's the poop! Besides, I'm in the same boat. I mean, Kevin is shorter than Parks, but I'm taller... So I guess I have no room to talk... It's the same right?

Hannah,
You are a nerd, you didn't need to tell us that, we already knew. I'm glad to see you finally spelled every word, in your post, correctly... Now we need to work on the grammer .

Jesi,
Damn those "Tim & Jesi" Day's !
