I think he's asking why HL isn't continuing that shape with a different name.

Parks board was due for a change for 2007, so they came up with the Imperial series to replace the Parks series. I guess if he had stayed at Hyperlite, that's the shape that would bear his name.

HL was due to change the Parks board? Hasn't it only been out for 2 seasons? I know it's not unheard of, but they normally keep a shape out for more than 2 seasons.

If you like that board so much, just keep riding it, no reason to get a new one!

The new Parks shape is called the Proof, not the Imperial.

There is no board called the Proof, but that is the new name for the binding previously known as Parks.

Hey Lyle, if you like the Parks board so much, you can buy my 2005. It is basically brand new. I rode it once and thought it sucked. It has been sitting in my closet since. I bought it online and meant to ship it back but never did so.

It's the exact same board in the link below. 2005 Parks DNA 140. Of course, same graphics. Make me an offer. http://www.wakeworld.com/boardguide/getboard6.asp?ProductID=2583
