Found one semi local priced well but am concerned about my weight. I'm 235 and have a decent sized wave.

Calabria Team V with 1100lb ballast and will have a sack in the port locker size to be determined.

I know the specs say up to 230 and I'm a little over it, but does that mean 230 with a huge wave? I was going to play it safe and go with the big chief but I found this for sale.

Aside from me needing to lose weight whadda ya think? :-)

Brian, a Piranha will float you fine.

I have an Airstream which is a new model similar to the Piranha in a 5-fin, and a couple 4'11" Pros which are also good options for you.
I am discounting these right now for end of year clearance. These are custom, made in the USA boards.

PM me if interested or if you have any other questions.

happy riding, Nick

I have a new Shred Stixx StixStreme still in bubble wrap, white with blue traction and blue / teal graphics, bigger board for the bigger guy or average riders with a small wake, selling super cheap, hit me up if interested

Drew, that is a a fairly old board. Send some pics. There are people that really like those 'candy coated' boards. Good for surf schools, they really take a beating.

Bill, it is probably 5'6" in length, and yes it will float a big guy quite nicely up to the 280-300lb range.
